A friend just reminded me of Camus' The Outsider, a novel I read not seven months ago but am still in love with. I'm dying to read it again. If anyone hasn't read it, I recommend it; read it in its original french, if you can, as I'm sure this is how it's meant to be read, something which I sadly cannot do.

It's an amazing story, but I won't spoil any of it here.

Rise Against gig tomorrow, with Claire and Ross, then Claire and I are going to see The Mad Caddies at Midnight. I swear, I've been wanting to see the Caddies for nine years. It'll be good to finally see them, and although I don't like them as much as I used to, I'm still looking forward to it.

Did a little work on Nightingale earlier, which for those who don't know, is the novel (or part thereof) that I'm working on at the moment, as the final stretch of my Masters. I'm still utterly hating it; I want to be writing Lucian, and as soon as 24th September comes, I'll be back into that. Had an idea for a short story tonight, too; a horror story set around a wake. It should be good; I'll let it simmer for a while. I plan on possibly going back to The Coins Upon The Rocks too. I have a few ideas, things to add to strengthen it.

Been doing a little market research too; found a few magazines who publish horror and fantasy. I want to post something off by the end of the year. Maybe I'll get published, but even if I get a rejection letter, I'll be happy. It's all progress.

Anyway, bed summons me. Check out the new drawings that are up. I'm going to give people a go...sometime. Also, need to upload some photography...
